Sheila has worked as a researcher, evaluator, and project manager across academic and community settings for over ten years. Sheila holds a Masters Degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She received her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of Minnesota, Morris. Sheila has worked as a research fellow at   The Williams Institute at UCLA, an LGBTQ public policy think tank. Sheila has also worked withwith the Minnesota Humanities Center, Center for Prevention at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, Pfund Foundation, STEP-UP Minneapolis, Operation Youth Success, the University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine, and TerraSoma consulting. Sheila also does community organizing on issues of policing, racial justice, and LGBTQ liberation.
